Article 6: Leaves
Language was amended to comply with current FMLA/CFRA law and Military Leave.
Article 14: Wages
2016-2017 salary schedule increase of 2% over the 2015-2016 salary schedule, ongoing, effective retroactively to July 1, 2016. In addition, a one-time, off-schedule payment of 1% of the 2015-2016 salary schedule for the 2016-2017 year.
Master’s Stipend shall increase to $2119.
A NEW Doctorate Stipend shall be added to the salary schedule valued at $2425.
14.2 & 14.3 Stipends
Stipend hourly rate will be $34.54 retroactive to July 1, 2016.

Middle School Safety Patrol
Elementary Leadership (maximum of 6 per site)
Addition of 1 Sixth Grade Department Chair per site

Improved language on acceptance of coursework units towards column advancement on the salary schedule.
Development of a new pre-approval form.

In addition to the Articles above, the following MOU’s have been signed for the 2017-2018 school year only.
Article 9: Hours of Employment
Revised 6th Grade Instructional Day:
6th grade start and end times will align with the 7th/8th grade schedule.
6th grade teachers will receive a daily prep period.
Two additional paid Professional Development days will be added to the 2017-2018 work calendar for a total of 184 days.
PLC Early Release
